4,113 miles
covered…
From Monday 24 July to Monday 31 August (six weeks), our young people, staff and mentors took part in a challenge for the Find Courage for KRAN summer fundraising campaign.
We covered (more than) 700 miles per week by walking, running, jogging, hiking, cycling, swimming, dancing and other means to raise vital funds. That’s a total of 4,113 miles, more than the distance from Kabul to Canterbury (which is 3,500) - a journey that many of those we work with have made.
And we reached our fundraising target too - thank you to everyone who donated!

Do you have an idea or a challenge that you’d like to complete and raise vital funds for KRAN at the same time?
Whether you’re a keen runner, a quiz night aficionado, or would like to try something completely new, we can help you!
Need some inspiration?
We have plenty of ideas to help you to organise an event at home, at work, or in the community that will raise vital funds and awareness for our work and the young refugees and asylum seekers we support in Kent.
See our Community Fundraising Pack for inspiration.
