GIVE A GIFT: THE KRAN BIKE PROJECT

The young people we work with arrive in the UK as unaccompanied minors - most do not have family here. This is why we are asking you to support them with a gift.

KRAN is collaborating with Canterbury Bike Project to provide renovated secondhand bikes to the refugees and asylum-seeking young people. Bikes are one of our most frequent requests from the young people, giving them freedom to travel in a healthy, free and eco-friendly way. We would love to be able to provide any young refugee or asylum seeker who wants - or needs one - with a bike, lock, lights, helmet, and cycle safety training.

Your virtual gift comes with a downloadable KRAN Bike Project gift certificate, which you can print and share. Each gift enables us to meet the needs of the young people we work with and to bring them joy.

  Donate any amount

You can also donate any amount of your choosing to the KRAN Bike Project, which KRAN will spend on items in this list, by clicking the button below.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU ARE MAKING

In the words of one of our young people:

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

All gift payments are donations, going straight to the KRAN Bike Project Fund, until this is fully funded (£3,000). The fund provides bikes, locks, lights, helmets, and cycle safety training for young refugees & asylum seekers in Kent. If any money is raised above £3,000, this will go towards the wider work of KRAN with young unaccompanied refugees & asylum seekers, to ensure that your money will be able to help young people in the most effective ways possible.

With grateful thanks to The Canterbury Bike Project for their continued collaboration and support.

On behalf of the KRAN young people, thank you very much!
