The computer drop-in sessions are a chance for some support to get laptops and phones working and also for how-to-do-it tips for software.
- Young people often need help to tune a donated laptop or help to secure a phone. Staff and volunteers guide them through the steps to get things working smoothly again and accompany them with research for online tips and fixes.
- Young people are challenged to devise strong passwords and think of the wider issues of privacy and securing information.
- Young people are introduced to CV templates and guided through the stages of adding information on their skills, background and wishes. They leave with a complete CV and an idea of where they are and where they might go.
