Jos Kerkvliet – Chair
Consultant clinical psychologist, previously Assistant Director in Mental Health, NHS Trust. Also a mentor for young people at KRAN. Offers health and wellbeing advice and support to staff.
Previously Head Teacher of a primary schools in London with a large Refugee client group. Good financial management experience in a voluntary capacity for a local political party.
Barbara Scott – Deputy Chair
Previously Head of a Primary School, and member of the KCC Educational Management Team where she was responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving in Schools.
Pat worked as a probation officer and has considerable HR experience. She has worked in the charity sector and has wide experience as a Trustee including being a Chair.
Rami is currently the International Relations Manager at Canterbury Christ Church University, he was born and educated in Syria.
Salome Legesse-Dunn – Treasurer
Salome has over 20 years finance experience in the private sector. She is currently Finance Director for Holiday Extras based in Kent.
Sally is a qualified and experienced social worker, who has also worked for Porchlight.
Extensive experience in international development, focused on poor and conflict affected countries. Previously, senior advisor on international development as a civil servant in Whitehall and international consultant.
Rupert is a former professor of social psychology who has done research into prejudice, hate crime and refugee resettlement. He mentors a young person at KRAN and volunteers with Canterbury Welcomes Refugees
Nicola has 15 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional. She has worked with refugees in the UK and abroad and is currently studying refugee law
