Learning about Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is the day when Europe countries stopped fighting.  The First World War stopped at 11.00 11/11 when Germany signed no war.

First time I was here in Canterbury on Remembrance Day.  Many people came in the Remembrance Day   some solider were there and the church man read about the First World War. My class went to the remembrance and my teachers went with them.  The teacher told the students about History of the First World war and the list of the soldiers. Two minutes silence was kept by the people. The people wore poppies on the left chest.

The poppies grew when the war finished.
